The Mill Valley Chamber Music Society opens its 49th season with Manhattan Chamber players next month



After a hiatus of almost two years due to the COVID-19 shutdown, the Mill Valley Chamber Music Society (MVCMS) returns for the 49th season of their annual chamber music concert series. Under the artistic direction of longtime board member and classical music enthusiast Bill Horne, the Mill Valley Chamber Music Society will present a brand new season of world-renowned musicians in an intimate setting at an affordable price.

“I am so delighted that we are back with live performances for our 2021-2022 season,” said Bill Horne. “The Board of Directors and I have been working for over a year to create an incredible season of world-class musicians which we are delighted to present here in Marin.”

Adds the Chairman of the Board of Directors Jane rogers, “We have missed our clients very much and we have all worked so hard to present not only an exciting season, but above all a safe environment for our artists and clients.”

The chamber music concert series consists of five performances per season and features classical musicians of local and international renown. Each band performs without a conductor, which Bill Horne says sets MVCMS apart from other chamber music organizations.
