Celebrate Back to School with a School Spirit Fundraiser at Rainbow Roller Rink. The school with the most pre-sale tickets purchased will receive a donation of $ 100. Listening to acoustic music

Celebrate the birth of the flag of Texas

Montgomery is hosting a celebration in honor of the creation of the Texas flag in the city. Local historians and professors will be on hand to provide free historical context, while visitors can take walking tours of historic sites in Montgomery. There will also be historical re-enactments by dancers Chikawa Aztec, the Texas Daughters of the American Revolution Flag Committee and Sons of the Republic, the latter with an authentic canon. Learn to garden

Home gardeners and experts alike are welcome to this organic vegetable course run by The Woodlands Township. Texas A&M AgriLife Distinguished Extension Officers Tom LeRoy and Bill Adams will be on hand to educate local gardeners on the latest trends, soil preparation and the best plant varieties in the area. 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. To free.
