Brahms Double Concerto: El Paso Pro-Musica celebrates the annual collaboration with the El Paso Symphony Orchestra with “Double Trouble,” featuring Grammy-winning cellist Zuill Bailey and renowned violinist Helen Kim performing Brahms’ Double Concerto. Concerts are scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Plaza Theater. Tickets, ranging from $16 to $46 plus fees, are available at epso.org.

Free musical performances: Fans of Borderland acoustic guitarist and vocalist Javier Martinez get to see him perform twice for free in one day on Saturday. Martinez will perform for the first time as Tale of Giants at 7:30 p.m. at Three Missions Brewery, 10179 Socorro Road in Socorro, in Subharmonic City’s Acoustic Showcase, which will also feature The March Divide and Jaime Candelaria of Sinbuenos. The brewery says it has new beers on tap. At 9 p.m., Martinez and Emily Davis of Emily Davis and the Murder Police will perform as Cult Loveless at Love Buzz, 3011 Pershing Drive. Also in attendance will be Fools Like Me, Cesar Jurado, E. Garcia (Roger!) and Ari.
